| Afrodite 2008-05-24 ch 13, | abuseGotenks is so amusing as a very powerful, yet obnoxious and cocky brat. In any case, evil Gohan continues to surprise me with his longevity. He seems nearly invincible at this point. It would be an interesting twist if the act that brings Gohan back is something relatively simple, and doesn't involve battling him. Keep up the good work, but I hope to see some steps taken toward reversing Gohan's transformation that don't just involve beatdowns (although you are doing a fine job describing the fight scenes). |

I was worried for a while there because it seemed that Gotenks wasn't putting up much of a fight, but he managed to make quite a comeback, albeit an unusual and comical one. |

Somehow, he manages to be darkly amusing, as do the other characters despite facing certain death at the all too eager hands of Gohan. I was excited for the arrival of Android 18, as I was expecting her to give Gohan a serious reckoning, and thankfully he admitted that she did hurt him (unfortunately, not enough to step down his game). At this point, I doubt Gotenks will end up being the savior, but surely the dialogue between the cocky Gotenks and the maliciously smug new Gohan will be entertaining. |
