This was so beautiful and sad. It was also enlightening. I always thought that Eugene killed himself simply because he was depressed and wanted to die, but it probably was because he also wanted to make things easier for Vincent by eliminating himself, the "second Jerome" and I didn't realize that until reading this fic.

It was very well-written, and I loved the description of the interactions between characters. Thank you for sharing this beautiful and moving work.
