The distinction between Itsuki and Koizumi, a distinction I noticed while watching because he was always, always Koizumi-kun and never called by his first name, not by anyone. Yuki, Mikuru, Haruhi - all were called by their first names. Kyon doesn't count, because that sounds like a nickname. But Koizumi Itsuki was always just Koizumi. It's so...distant, even with the -kun.
