I think people forget that she may possibly be just as twisted as Sweeney, but without all the anger.
Anyways, it was a fun read.

HAHAHA! I feel evil laughing at Albert's death but that DID have a touch of comedy to it. Wonderful

I always believe there’s a certain beauty in very brief stories. However, there needs to be more detail, as in explanation, for this story to really be pulled off. I’ve written about Mrs. Lovett poisoning Albert too, so it’d be hypocritical to say I don’t believe it, but I don’t think movie Lovett shows enough hatred towards him, not enough for us to believe she would do it right off the bat, no questions asked. And how could he possibly be eating them out of house and home when baking is their business (she can’t be feeding either of them if she isn’t feeding customers, too)? I’m also not convinced she poisoned Lucy. If the first poisoning didn’t off her, why didn’t Mrs. Lovett try again?

That said, you have some interesting ideas about Mrs. Lovett and Albert’s relationship. And you could have easily convinced me that Lovett poisoned both of them, your story just needs to be fleshed out, so to speak.

Wooh, haunting. She's always such a liar, or at least someone who avoids the truth. That ensures Lovett being in character, at least. We all better keep an eye on her, aye? Short, but an interesting read. Can't wait to see what else you write!

Ah, Mrs. Lovett. This was short but quite disturbing (with Sweeney Todd fics, that's a good thing ^_^)
Interesting choice to have her learn from the earlier poisoning of Lucy- a kind of failed "experiment," I guess. For some reason I always assumed that Albert had died (whether by natural means or no) before Benjamin was deported.

Hmm interesting take on the idea, however I keep wondering why everyone seems to think Mrs Lovett poisoned Albert and Lucy, did I miss something in the film/musical that everyone else picked up on or is it just too good of an idea to waste?
