I shouldn't have come back for more. I knew I would cry when I read this summary. It's a shame that beautiful Clerith stories like these don't get much attention. I actually do like Cloti, but there are so many Cloti fluff stories and it's starting to bug me a bit. Well, that and the fact that everyone loves the fluffly Cloti stories. I like a little bit of angst in my reading. I like a little bit of angst in my writing. This story was so beautiful and so sad. You are proof that great writers are out there not getting the reviews they deserve. Lol, you may convert me into more of a Clerith than Zerith. I have yet to find any Zerith stories that I really love, but that could be the nature of their love. It's not set-up the same as Cloud and Aerith. It's very different. Anyway, back to this one-shot. It was sad to see Cloud old, and that he never found anyone else. I guess that's the first thing that I found sad. I love Zack quite a bit so I had always hoped that Zack lived on through Cloud, and if Cloud had children then a part of Zack lived on too. But here, neither Zack nor Cloud nor Aerith lived on. Just Tifa and Vincent. Oh, and Vincent living forever, that reminds me of that movie, "Highlander," and that beautiful Queen song, "Who wants to live forever." Poor Vincent. Tifa will not be the last love of his love, or maybe she will. He may just give up love all together and live as a hermit. . . anyway, the ending was so sweet. Now Cloud can be happy forever :) Your writing is so beautiful! I really love it :) I was so surprised when I looked at your profile and saw you were a guy. Well, some male authors have beautiful diction and prose too. It's just not typical I suppose. Also, nice job not making Aerith sappy. She tends to come off that way in many fics. Oh yes, I'm glad Cloud kept in touch with Tifa, and that Tifa found happiness. Anyway, this was awesome!

Some might describe it as bittersweet, but to me the joy here far outweighs the bad. Thanks for the read.

I...just realized that... Cloud and Aerith sharing their love in the Lifestream isn't bad after all. Someday this might really happen to the story. Although sEnix wouldn't take FFVII that far, its what's going to happen one way or another. If not for Cloud going after Tifa...most likely not. Ha...

Vincent and Nanaki...they're the only ones left huh? Somehow...I can picture them together, remenicing on the past. Well...most silently of course. But Yuffie died young huh. And I thought she'd go last. She's so energetic! Hahaha

that was lovely! There were lots of lovely imagery in the piece and your portrayal of Cloud's death was magnificent. I could really imagine the serenity and beauty of it all. Poor Vincent though. Anyway, nice work. Keep writing! ^_^
