I just wante dto say I enjoyed this story and that my favorite books are also Rilla of Ingleside and Anne's House of Dreams. I don't know anyone else who likes those so I just had to mention it.)

Thank you for this story! The ending of the book has always seemed wonderful to me...we are left to imagine the world of Rilla Blythe without specific events to cloud our ideas. However, as exciting as this is, it is certainly nice to see that others are, at the same time, also aggravated by this. I'm glad to know that I am not the only reader who has envisioned Rilla and Ken's Happily-Ever-After, and that you put it into words so eloquently for us.

That was beautiful! I've also been left hanging by the ending in the book; I'm glad someone took the time to write it for themselves. Keep writing!

It was pretty good, though I was rather disgusted about the pet names the characters used. 'Mummy' and 'Daddy'? Rilla didn't call them that since she was nine (about). 'Baby girl'? Um, no. 'Kitten', was actually a pet name of Gilbert's for Rilla. Nice that you worked it in. 'Big brother'? That made me think of Sally talking to Charlie Brown, her big brother. It made me giggle a little bit. 'Little sister'? I thought that that was only Walter's pet name for her, not Jem or any of her other siblings. Guess that one doesn't matter very much. But it was a very good story, except for the nicknames and (occasionally) a little modern speech.

i know what u mean about the ending of rilla of ingleside-in addition to anne of the island it's my favorite anne book-but the ending just leaves us hanging. but this is so awesome! ur such a good writer!
