This is a very short and sweet story. I'm always up for learning more about how Kenshin and his son might have carried on together. I intend to go through more of your fics as i like your writing very much ^^

very good. everyone stays in character, but there is a tad too much japanese, although the magebear understands where you are coming from.

This was a good story. I loved the interaction between Kenshin and Kenji, and how they kept his adventure a secret from Kaoru. I can really see that happening.

On another note, thank you for the trans. to Kenji's name. I looked all over the internet but couldn't find anything that sounded even remotely correct. Oh well.

This was very cute. I think the part I enjoyed the most was when Kenshin wonders what parents would be irresponsible enough to let their child out in the storm. Obviously, Kenji is still young here or he would have known the jig was up right then.

I loved it. Of course Kenshin would know that Kenji was the one that wandered out. Big mistake on Kenji's part. Not such a good idea to try to hide this kind of stuff from your parents. They always know, one way or another. It's like they have a sixth sense.

But, Kenji called Kenshin and Kaoru stupid, unintentionally of course, towards the end. It was actually quite funny to see the extent that Kenji would go to to avoid punishment.

But I did think the part that Kaoru's anger was more frightening than being hit by lightning very funny. Kaoru is not a woman to be messed with is she? I'm guessing that's why Kenshin punished Kenji his way instead of turning him in to Kaoru.

I somehow cannot imagine Kenshin glaring at his own son. but, it makes sense he would.

the stuffed rooster was a nice touch :3

I love how you portray Kenji--so mischievous! I loved that he tried to lie to Kenshin about his little excursion. Their relationship seems so tangible, like a real father and son.
