Great, again, but this doesn't seem like an EPOV. It seems more like he's looking back on that moment.

Great companion piece! You know what I always wanted to see more of in this series -- more of how the family was with Bella being influenced by their time with Edward as a human. Esme didn't mind cooking for Bella because she had been used to cooking for Edward, missed it even when he was changed. Same with their bloodlust. Maybe Jasper had once tried to snap at human Edward, too.

I LOVE hearing his pov on these situations.

Fav Lines: There was a pause in our humor in which I asked for forgiveness. She gave it without pause, or even a second thought. She made sure to tell me that apologizing for what I was. I in turn managed to tell her, in the face of such a stunning display of kindness and forgiveness, that she astounded me, though that did not even begin to cover what she did to me. Without words I cupped her delicate cheeks in my hands and stared into her eyes. I could feel the frown on my face as I looked, feel the way my heart dropped down to my feet and then rose into my throat in succession. She had no idea what she did to me.

Aw. The bloodlust must have really been killing him. And as usual, Edward is so hard on himself. Great chapter though! I think you captured Edward's character perfectly. His love, selfishness (as I imagine he would call it), guilt, and anger.
