It seems to me like Tsume should be a little more...concerned about Toboe and the situation he's in. It's not as though he would be gushing over the runt, but it was obvious even in the show that he does care. Personally, if there was someone who I cared about at all selling their bodies to survive, I would at least try and get them into a better career - and Tsume is in a position to do that. If he runs a gang, then Toboe would be capable of joining, being a wolf with superior speed, agility and such (it'd be interesting to see what he thinks of killing humans in this life). An arrangement like that would be beneficial to both of them: Toboe would no longer need to sell himself, and Tsume would have another wolf in his gang.

Thank you so much for updating. I'm going through so much shit right now, this is the only thing that made tonight bearable. That being said, I like the way you portray Kiba (if you couldn't guess, he's not my favorite character). And what Tsume said about him leaving them to die, especially the part about Toboe, rang very true with me. Interesting to see them as both wolves and humans at once when they're getting affectionate - that part's always hard to handle. You're still showing the duality of Toboe's nature nicely, and now I'm very curious to see how you change Hige or Blue, assuming they're involved in this.
Haha, poor Tsume. Hope they kiss & make-up soon. About time someone did...

Hey, I just wanted to say that, while it makes me a little sad, it's interesting to see how you portray Toboe in this. Most fics don't seem to change him at all in the "new life" setting, so it's nice to see a break from stereotype. You seem to have a good grasp of the characters, and I'd love to see where you're going with it.
