I know it's been a while since you updated this, since I've read it before. I reread it recently though, and I'm hoping that you still plan to continue with the fic? The plot sounds really good, and I love the action scenes and the suspense so far, so I'm hoping really hard that you don't plan to discontinue it. ^^;

I love the vast majority of your works; whether they be short but packing one hell of an impact, or epic and thought provoking, I greatly enjoy your stories. I admit I am disappointed by the lack of updates, especially to this story. I understand real life must be in the way, but Sephiroth's characterization here is one of the best I've ever come across, I'm eagerly awaiting more. I myself have some many fic ideas, but alas, lots of not so awesome things has occured due to the economy with my family, and my grades have always been my first priority, especially now as a junior with scholarship chances heading my way. And so I remain only a fanfiction reader, for now. I full intend to write fics in the future, KH2, Nabari no Ou, Kuroshitsuji, FF7 and FF8 and many more fandoms, have too many lovely characters and ideas to ignore!~! SO again, thanks for the great stories, they are a pleasure to read.

Haha, just letting you know that as I went back and skimmed the last chapter (as I usually do to refresh my memory when it's been a while between chapters), I actually got caught up in the battle all over again. Seriously. It just sucks you in, even when you don't want to be sucked in. When you compare that to how most I find most fanfiction battles to be supremely skip-able, you can really appreciate the level of quality difference.

Anyway, about this chapter. This battle in this one was just as visually dynamic as the last chapter. Some excellent moments with Yuffie's shuriken points landing on either side of her neck (so scary!) and pinning her to the wall, Seph using Tifa herself as a weapon against Yuffie, Leon dangling from cliffs and the human pincushion. Then Leon, human pincushion number 2. Yeah, it was mad exciting. You should seriously consider writing screenplays. Movie people would love you.

Some criticism: I was not really feeling the in-battle dialogue here. It was pretty standard and familiar to anyone who has played either KH or KH2--maybe a little TOO standard, you know? While I understand that's undoubtedly what you were going for, I've played the games already, so I wasn't really into reliving them in that regard. Then again, my negative feelings about that likely have to do with my bias against some of that stuff. Even while playing the games (which I nevertheless loved so much) I had a tendency to roll my eyes whenever somebody opened their mouth and started spouting rhetoric about the Darkness and the Light and Hearts (sometimes I wonder how I was even aware of what was happening onscreen, as my eyes must have been in the back of my head for like half the game, haha). Perhaps this complaint is just me being jaded, so take it as you will.

Anyway, the end was really awesome. Didn't ever expect Sephiroth to take such a deadly hit. I LOVE how you had him stay completely unmoved by his new title of human (?) pincushion number 3. Very impressive, totally in-character for Seph. And I'm glad to see the plot picking up the end as well: "You will take her place". Oh boy, I hope we get lots of depraved rape scenes, but I may be asking for too much. I mean, I ALWAYS hope we get lots of depraved rape scenes...because I am a horrible person with twisted tastes in entertainment...haha... *self-conscious laughter*
