Yay! AU-ness! Honestly this kind of reminds me of my fic... it's fun to screw with the Detective Conan characters isn't it? :P The scenario with Kaito and Aoko is very believable... I understand why Kaito would be so quick to abandon the work of his father, because it dredges up bad memories, but at the same time I empathize with Aoko's desire to preserve it. Ha... Kaito as a detective. XD Oh the irony...
