Poor Jack...he tries so hard to talk his way out of things. One of these days/chapters, he's bound to learn that does not always work.

Ah, I must disagree. In the second pirates, one of the first seens is of Gibbs on the Pearl singing 'bout Pirates (naturally) and attached to the side of the ship is the dingy, tossing to the surging of the ship as you like ...

Yep. That's how they're stored. Not much different from Cruise Ship life boats, really, if you've ever had the pleasure of attending your muster station during a drill on one ...

Only a few more chapters? That makes me sad. You seem to have a good handle on Jack, and the gen is refreshing. I love the plot too. It's such a deliciously complicated situation that only Jack could have gotten himself into. I can't wait to see how he gets himself out!
