I'm not sure I agree that Mick's feelings for Beth are strictly platonic, but hey, that works for me. (After watching her for all these years, a lot of them as a child, you'd think he would feel that way, but hey.) You captured the drag that is waiting without pounding the issue to death, captured his rioting emotions without babbling. I loved that he thought Josef was just 'fitting it in his schedule' to rip him a new one. Can't wait for chapter 3.

Oh, this promises to be good. I like the 'changes' you made with Mick, it is frusterating to see him always get his ** kicked every week. He's already forming a connection to the new turn, breaking the rules for her, etc. How does Beth fit in, if at all? I hope Josef makes an appearance, the banter between him and Mick is always killer.

This is the best Moonlight fanfic I've read so far so keep up the good work.
