Lovely oneshot. As I was reading it I was sure that he was making something for Kagome, but I like that he was making it for his daughter far better. You walk the reader through the basics of leather tanning with enough detail to explain Inuyasha's impatience, but without boring them with minute details. I can almost visualize Inuyasha scraping the skin over and over again to make it the most suple and soft that he could.

Short but sweet. Well-written, creative idea- I never thought of him offering the robe to her as him offering all he had, but it really is, isn't it? Great observation, it's so thoughtful!- very much in character, realistic, and above all sweet in message. He may not think he deserves her, but he'd never give her up.
