Ah, I see Snape is still trying to protect the Wizarding World, and the children in it. I'm glad Albus told him the truth as far as he knew it. And I see that despite his words about being equals, the old Headmaster is the same as ever.

My favourite bit was the way you wrote Teddy as having a four-part heritage! This came up in a fandom discussion awhile ago - how a balanced person needs to have a bit of every House in them. Good characterisation with both boys as well!

Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to reading this - how I wish I'd started earlier! The first chapter is gripping. I adore the idea of a child born due to Amortentia growing up to father a child under its influence (JKR did say that Tom's birth from a loveless union was very significant). The way you balance describing things and leaving things to the imagination (something which a lot of fanficcers don't do well) is also fantastic.

What a wonderful Christmas! I think it's a blast that playing against (gasp!) *Ginny Potter* is so way cooler than playing against her husband to a kid. And I'm glad Draco is back at Seeker. But _with_ Ron Weasley? This is going to be er, interesting.

I'm glad Snape is able to amuse himself now that he has time to, though even that has a cunning plan attached. I do think the castle would have recognized Snape as Headmaster without Harry's intervention--he was allowed the use of the office while Umbridge wasn't (on some lists, an Obvious Faux Pas of this nature, even though committed by the author, is called a Flint).

I love the way Lucius came in with his amulet, to dispell Victoire's dawning realization that this was rather too easy.

Technically, Andromeda was Narcissa's sister, as was Bella. I do enjoy Snape's way of Pointing Things Out, though.

I don't believe Rast. Just because of what Lucius was like in the past, he's willing to just forget the ELEVEN years of love and affection his aunt and uncle gave him before he came to school? The little git should take into account that Lucy and Cissy never did anything to show they were the evil gits they used to be while raising him. In fact if they WERE evil then they could have raised HIM to be evil, but instead they raised him to be GOOD, despite who his birthparents were. *lol*

if they were stil on the side of evil they'd have shown it to him before now, or would have RAISED him to be as evil and closedminded as Draco was when he was Rast's age. Their still the same people he grew up with. The way Rast is treating his guardians is how those seventh year Gryfinndor's treats HIM on his first night at school, simply because of his last name.

Ahh how could Rastaban treat Lucius this way? He should be honored that the Malfoys even took him in.

Anyways, I can't wait to see his reaction when he finds out who his dad is haha.

i just hope for the poor kid that, by the time he finds out who his parents were, the bonds of his friendship with teddy and valerie (AH-HA! another gryffindor trio!) are strong enough, so they won't abandon him...

lucius as a professor - awesome! (can i go to hogwarts, too?) poor narcissa, she won't see much of him... i just hope that draco, astoria and scorpius are with her to keep her company ;)
