I thought the bird bed in the movie was tacky and ridiculous, too. Glad I'm not alone in that... Was the dance inspired by the movie Labyrinth? I loved Erik and Meg's costumes.

I have read dozens of stories here on FF, and the number that are as...ORIGINAL...as this are few; the number that are as ENTERTAINING are less. I do believe you stand in rarified company among those who are both! I cannot express my joy at finding such a pearl amongst all the seaweed! I finally registered just so I could give you kudos, because I WANT to see where this goes.

Critique? I do not feel qualified to do so. I might harp on typos and such, but heck...as long as the grammar doesn't make the hair on the back of my neck bristle, I'm not going to bother. Because we are dealing with 'younger' personalities, I'm sure they speak ungramatically anyway.

So Erik's a vampire now, right. You are giving me shivers, but I'm loving it.

Sweet! I enjoyed Meg clinging to the ceiling like a vampire in a B movie. Also, I'm glad Erik doesn't sleep in a coffin. Plus you gave him a lair/living situation that actually makes sense, which is a step up from most fics.

If you want people to review this story, you're going to have to turn off the option where they have to be logged in to do so. I've actually been following it for a while, but don't generally log in. I hope to see more of Erik and Meg's dysfunctional quasi-sibling relationship; everyone always seems to leave that out of the stories where M Giry is his surrogate mom...
