Lovely story. Even though I'm not that familiar with Blood , I liked the background (I took a course in grad school on the fall of the Romanovs and Rasputin/Gregori the Mad Monk/Starets) and you did a great job of evoking a very interesting atmosphere. I get the sense this is a one-shot...pity that it is so.

Gail and I pray you are OK. I haven't seen reviews of my new SB story for a little while. The newest chapter takes the story in an interesting direction...if you could read and review the latest, would be nice...

What else can I say except the only thing that should be said about this - beautiful writing. Your writing expresses greatly how much Saya means to Haji. I really enjoyed reading how his feelings came about for her. It's heart breaking the promise that he has to one day carry out for Saya. His heart will indeed break. Excellent job.

Wow. I knew this would be heart-wrenching, simply because of who Saya and Haji are...but I wasn't quite expecting this. Isn't it terrible that two people can't just find love in this world? That one will have to end the life of the other, just to keep the world safe? I feel very badly for Haji, as he never asked to be a part of that world, to be a chevalier.
Very dramatic, my friend, and I think, spot-on as to how Haji really feels.

I don't know why I didn't catch this one before... It was a beautiful insight to what lay behind Hagi's emotionless mask. Hagi, I think, is one of the hardest characters in the Blood Plus world to describe and to get into the workings of his mind is no small task. You handled it well, I think, and I hope you continue to write in this section.

wow. that was truly amazing. it was in very deep. you could feel and see everything Haji did. I love haji a lot and appreciate his loyalty to Saya. I got to see it from a new level and it made me love him even more. That was very well done!

What a hauntingly beautiful read. So poignant and consumed with such imagery. I was engrossed from the very beginning. You've created yet another fascinating POV; this one coming from an anime you've just recently become aquainted with. I'm amazed at the depth from which you manage to convey this story. Haji's character is so intense you could literally feel the love he has for Saya leaping from what you've allowed us, the readers, to see. Again you've managed to intrigue me and I am anxiously awaiting to catch an episode of this anime on Saturday nights. Well done!
