Amazing story! I tried to review earlier but the review section was all screwed up but seriously love this story. I can't wait to read more, can't imagine Sirius will be forgiven quickly if at all? I can't wait for Sirius angst (no pun intended...well maybe a little lol) Please update soon!! ^-^

Great idea for a AU, it certainly is THE thing that can change the characters and the dynamics between them completely. I must say that in cannon I never understood why Dumbledore and MacGonnagal had not been more severe towards a "joke" that could very well have ended like that. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I really liked this. It works fabulously as a one-shot - it's all very exciting and a refreshing glimpse into James' head. But what I love even more are consequences and, as the title promises, redemption. So I'll be waiting for more. :)

Dark, graphic, and heart-wrenching. This is the kind of story that brings that same burn of tears to the back of your throat, the kind of tale-telling that leaves you gripped, and gulping, and craving more even while you wince away from the wide open wound of the emotions spilled across the page.

You're certainly off to a good start. This is a very interesting premise to start with and I thinkyou have done an excellent job on the emotions of James, Dumbledore and McGonagall.

That was an incredible opening piece. You captured James' desperation so vividly. I'm curious to read the rest of it, especially how Sirius deals with the consequences of his actions.
