Well I always believe in honest feedback so here goes.

On the whole there is a lot of great ideas in this story, and it is quite well written.

However Makayla is an interesting way of spelling MICHAELA.

The children would call her Ma not mom.

Some of the language used is a bit incongrous.

Otherwise, as I say, a good story.

Will she be able to stay there?
