I also like that the Socs had a reason to jump Soda. Not just Evil!Socs, but a legit reason. Same with Steve not being Jerk!Steve, but just being a good friend to Soda. Nice job. :) |

People usually make Steve out to be a bad guy, but if he's Soda's best buddy he's gotta be a good guy, right? And I like how you didn't turn Soda into some woobie and how you gave the Socs an actual reason for jumping him. A lot of the time in FF, Socs are just teh evilz and go randomly jumping the greasers with no reason at all. Good job. : ) |
| SamanthaMae 2008-01-08 ch 1, | abuseI liked this :) I liked how the Socs had a *reason* to beat Soda up instead of just saying, "Hey, there's a greaser, let's jump him!" I also think you had Soda in character, using the same words Ponyboy did in the Outsiders--probably words Pony heard Soda say and started using it. If you're a sibling, you know what I mean, right? Uh, sorry. Anyway, I liked the Steve/Soda friendship thing going on. Thank God you didn't make this a slash thing, lol. "He mentioned something about carrying me, but I declined. My pride had already taken a beating today. “Stevie, if anyone asks; there were ten of them,” I paused, “with chains.”" Lol. Great job with this :) |
