This seems like a decent start. A few minor word substitution errors are present, though, such as "unexpected increase on money" where you either mean "unexpected increase OF money" or "unexpected increase IN money".

I see you've also updated the fic from 1966 to 2006/7; you should make that a bit more clear, as "modern fic" by itself doesn't convey that, IMO. Perhaps in your author note or summary put something like "AU/Updated to 2006"?

I'l keep an eye on this one since the slash could go any which way, eh? :)
