One small (formal) criticism, however: you might want to rework the spelling a little. The story reads so well, but for me, it interrupts the flow a little if I keep coming across missing apostrophes and a's instead of e's and too many o's in "lose" ;) Sorry, it might be just me, but the story in itself is so perfect that it deserves perfect spelling, too.

I liked the contrast you gave this one vs. the others because it wasn't all EZstreet for them.

Putting Carl in the trunk at the end was great.

Giving Carl a tear when Nick quit was sweet.

Very good! I can see what you meant about having to reread the ending, but it was well worth it. I especially love Carl acting like a decent person/creature, when O'Malley was upset. Oh and I wanted to beat Syler, alot. Thanks for an awesome fic.
