Other than not really being able to see Nathan as an accountant, I liked it.

Peter using Molly's power was nice to see.

i really like this story. i think you captured the character of nathan very well. it's nice to see him getting a chance at a good life. poor fella has been through a lot. i also liked his interactions with peter and heidi. you seem to have their characters right, as well.

I'm so glad Nathan gets a happy ending here. The guy's been through a lot and has tried to do the right thing. It's nice to see that rewarded.

It's a testament to how much I love you that I got straight to reviewing a story that (a) does not feature Sylar, and (b) contains one of the new genres (family) of which I am particularly wary.

So I guess I didn't like this one as much as I usually like your Sylaire stuff, but it was a good story. Just not my thing. I especially liked that in making Nathan more vulnerable, you also make him more open to his powers, which of course he usually seems a little embarassed about. Maybe he is related to Peter, after all. :)

I also really appreciated that while your fic ended happily, it wasn't perfect. Heidi's statement that Nathan flying off with her wouldn't miraculously fix everything was perfectly on target, even though it obviously softened her up a little bit. Plus, if Nathan has opened himself up enough to show her what he can do, then I think there's real hope for them as a couple.
