Poetry is almost always intensely personal, and this was exceptionally so. Thank you for sharing it.

I don't usually read Phantom poetry but this, I must say, was a beautiful poem with wonderful rhythm and tone. Loved it when Erik answered his own question at the end where he realises that he will have no reprieve once he's gone. Excellent work.

I'm not usually one to read poetry, but as I've been reading your story, I thought I'd give this a chance. I think it is nicely done; no doubt much more fun than physics. You caught a nice tone with the poem, and I liked the rhythm, too. All in all, good job.
