That was beautiful! I can't think of another word to describe it! I also like how you wrote Eustuce, very in-character! Now... is there a story about the Emperor-Beyond-the-Sea? The way you wrote Edmund's reaction to the question made it seem like he knew something about it. But anyway, great little story! =)

oh, that was sad. Poor little star... The fact that Ed told the story was a good twist I figared Lucy would have. So is this how your new story will fit in? Ed remembering than? I look forward to see where it goes now. I still hate the idea of Ed in Narnia without his brother though... even though I know he must and he did fine it just... *huff*

Beautiful. I love this.

This is a story that cannot be summarized. It is too beautiful and unusual.
I am in awe of the way you can convey emotion through simple description. And I am so proud of Eustace for finally saying the right thing.

I have to stop and say two things. First: '...hounds. The sun has three and the moon has one. We met them.' Do I see another story, or am I just fishing? *smiles hopefully*. Second: At the very end, where Eustace asked about the Emperor-Over-Sea, that was beautifully done. And I also see a story there. I am so curious!

It's such a beautiful and poetic story! I loved everything, from the storytelling at the end of the day in the ship, to the story itself. There is a really special atmosphere pervading the whole tale, maybe because it's so related to the stars (always so fascinating) and the language helps a lot to that.
All the characters are in character, as always, even those not so often seen in your stories, as Reep, or Caspian or even Eustace. And I like how you always manage to make them round without needing a long story to develop them. I have especially liked the poem Eustace says at the end and him saying it. Such a change, isn't it!
And finally, you leave me longing to hear the story behind the Emperor's name. I do hope to read it some day.
