You certainly like freeverse, don't you. I like it. It's easy to follow and understand which I appreciate in a poem. I would only criticize the fact that the voice of Edward and the effect that has on her is distinctly missing from the experience.

Oh. My. God. Wow. You have just writen the only poem on this whole site that can satisfy the needs of an english-teacher raised poetry lover. I'm shocked. Your poetry is beautiful, and I must say that my one pet peeve is rhyming, but your rhymes (mostly) seemed so natural that i wasn't even sure if you were rhyming at first.

The one big problem i have with rhymes is when people try to wright depressing poetry that rymes, beacuse the rhyme sets a steady, even beat that gives the poem a comfortable feel. I must say, however, that some how, and I'm not quite sure how, you managed to pull off one of the most beautiful and depressing poems i have ever read, and still have it rhyme. my only possible comment would be to smoothe out one or to of the rhymes, but it is'nt really a big deal. Amazing work, please keep writing.

i truly love the poem! It explains what Bella is feeling quite well I think you can probably pull off another poem about how Bella is feeling with Jacob (friends? or more?)
