I actually cried. I'm such a baby! But hey, what can I say, when my haleyis hurting it just breaks my heart. Beautifully written, loved it.

Loved this one shot of Haley's feelings. Though thank goodness, he is beginning to come to his senses and we're losing the long hair and beard next week.

Oh Dawnie, I floved this.

I think with Nathan's little downward spiral, it's obvious that he is destroying the two people he loves most with him, people that only 4 months prior were happy and healthy. I love that they definitely established that little undertone on the show...that Haley still loves him but she's on her last nerve...that it isn't about him anymore, or her for that matter, but Jamie.

And i loved the happy family moments you mentioned here...I wish we would get more happy NHJ flashbacks on the show...it's obvious they were close and it's obvious the whole experience is breaking that adorable child's heart.

Anywho, very well written and great descriptions. I wish we could get more of what Haley is feeling on the show.

that is such a heartbreaking story... goodness i hope they have some sweet naley moments soon... I need the always and forever!

Keep it up, and I am glad this one-shot was shared... very well written.

That was beautifull written. I love being inside Haley's head. I imagine that is what she is feeling. Nathan isn't the only one suffering. He is hurting his family in the process. Great story. It really pulled at the heartstrings. Great job!

Wow, that was AMAZING. You have captured Haley's emotions perfectly here. I loved all the details about the bed. Seriously, you have no idea how much this story touched me. I have a feeling you would do a better job with this storyline than even the OTH writers.

Aww Dawnie I love it. Heartbreaking babe. I love it when you write one shots like this, especially when they involve Haley, we all know we don't get enough (if any at all) of her insight. I love how you captured the raw pain of it, just what I would've loved to see on the show!

I think you captured Haley's feelings perfectly. Not knowing how to help Nathan or make him feel better, the helplessness she must feel about everthing.

I really love this hon! I'm so glad that you decided to go with it and give it a chance. You've captured the breaking apart of a family perfectly. The downfall of one member is leading to the downfall of them all. Haley is in such a difficult position after promising to stand by Nathan through anything, but then obviously needing to protect her son at all costs. The image you painted of Haley crying the bathroom, using the running water to hide her depair was heartbreaking.
