Everything I've read by you has been simple and beautiful. This had such a feeling of hope in it that built from the first paragraph, well done. It's the first Fowlson-centered piece I've read and it is really lovely.

Woow. That was beautiful, and I'm glad someone finally wrote something about this pairing. And since we only had their kiss introduced to us, the love between them felt sorta dead. This oneshot cleared away the fog, and their love seems more alive, even if McCleethy is dead. And how would've we known Fowlson was such a loving person, after all? xD

I loved this! A keen insight into the process of grieving ("so he won't ever smile") and gradual recovery. All in such lovely prose, too! Brava!
