Really enjoyed this chapter! Really like how you are writing the relationship between Sam, John and Dean - always monkey in the middle it seems. Really liking the dual flashback too... Can't wait to find out what's up with Todd!

You were going great, what is the hang up? It better not be those cows of yours - I heard about their plot to destroy the planet by releasing greenhouse gases, still can't believe you give them asylum. If they had an ounce of courtesy they would hibernate like bears do and you could concentrate on writing and not have to wait on them hand & foot all winter long. But seriously, I really want chapter 5 - this is the most promising story in progress I am following at the moment and if you don't post soon I will be forced to beat the brushes looking for someone to write about fire breathing jackelopes and I know what you think about that. And you needn't think I can't find someone capable of it - we both know there is someone out there who will.

I love then authors basically use other characters to reflect how Dean feels. Dean can relate to Stacy having to stay here and take care of her family. Her brother even left to do is own thing. It is always fun to see Dean's reaction to those types of things because otherwise he wouldn't be one to talk about it.

Can't wait to find out who knows Dean at the bar.

Great story so far. I love how you've blended the Stanford years in with the present. It's always interesting to get a peek into the boys lives during the years they spent apart.
Awesome job writing the boys, you've brilliant at getting inside Dean's head. Hurts my heart to see how alone he is.

So John thinks he's helping Dean but Dean thinks he's being punished. Oh, if only they'd talk to each other! And I'm definitely wondering where Dean's investigation is going to lead him, so please update soon.

You have really gotten inside Dean and John's head which is great to read. Loved how you didn't paint John as some kinda evil daddy but rather just unsure of how to help. Looking forward to where you take this!
