I love Alice, and hers and John's interactions. They're very entertaining. And the way you've managed to incorporate her and all the other AI's into the actual episode arc is fantastic. I can't wait till the next chapter.

i had read this story a while back and enjoyed it very much, having just rediscovered it I read it thought again and very much hope you will continue to update all the way throught. I do love the AI's personalitys and how they interact with John, Lorne, Teyla and Radek.

Alice is awesome. With her character, you've really opened up a great venue for fiction. You handle it so well, I really feel like Alice has always been there.

This is most ingenious! I love the way you have woven the AIs, other programs, and Atlantis into the regular series. I only wish you had begun in the jumper during 38 Minutes (one of my favorite episodes). That would have been very interesting.

Please tell me that you will continue this until the end of the series as you said in the A/Ns. This is way too good to let it die the death of a WIP. I really hate those!!

I'm liking the story thus far. But I think it's high time the Alice begins to have a much greater impact on the plots. Adding a character to the timeline that effectively has no impact is... Other than providing amusing dialog, is worthless. And I don't understand why she can't be setup later with a holographic projector like we see in the Hologram room or when the Tria communicates with the Deadelus.

Also, since you've added an AI to the Orion, that is actively helping in repair an optimization, perhaps the Orion won't have such massive power distribution problems and get smacked down on it's first battle? You've create Alice, but she's all alone except for the Jumpers, and you've already managed to kill off two of her couterparts. It's a bad trend. Again, there's no point having these AI's if they can't affect real change in the stories.

Also, consider allowing them to evolve to extents. You've already established that they can self-write. And Alice is already influencing consoles and pads around Atlantis. If she can do that, it shouldn't be that much of a great leap to encode audio messages, so that she can literally speak to the expedition, even if she can't be seen. And if you let the expedition know about her, I'm sure Rodney and Zelenka can increase her interactivity ability.

Rory is so dry. I loved it. He's totally a personality unto himself and it fits the story. Keep it rockin'.

I love this story. I've always thought that Atlantis must have had some sort of AI program that those with the ATA gene could interface with. Not that I ever imagined her (yes I think the programme is female) as a small blonde child. It also doesn't surprise me that the warship's AIs are male.

Nice story, Definite thumbs up! =) I justa have a few questions, will Jack O'Neill be able to see her? As he is the only human with ATS that matches Shepard's Also, can you please take this at least partially in to the realm of the AU, not to the levels that stories like and Ancient's journey or any other crossover eg AturmUnas's emancipation... Either way enjoying it! Also more AIs would lead to a lot of interesting dialogue and and you could have them inside the city discussing the happenings in the city. One Ai that could join would be the Tria's and any outpost may have one... Also would you make it so all the newest ZPMs that the expedition find have unique AIs, that either transferred there from an outpost's control chair or even just have the Ai acting as the control units aboard an warship and that when ever a warship is destroyed a zpm could be recovered along with the onboard AI perhaps even neural imprints of the ships crew and they could have new bodies cloned in a way similar to the Asgard... Though i think that very very last comment cold be ignored...

After sitting down and reading your story today i have but one thing to say: I love it. I don't know why, but I'v always liked the Sheppard connecting with Atlantis typed story's, and this has to be the best I'v read yet.

Good to see this one still has life! I'm really liking the Alice/AI characters, et al. It makes for some real thinking to weave them into the established plots.
