At first it really reminded me of the book, cause a, how you start (lemme say...deus ex machina) its all like how h. would describe the situation b, ~phraseology ('..and all'/ 'no kidding') but if you read it for a second, third time, you realise the diffs...but thats natural...noone asked you to copy salinger, right?:) so real good trial, i guess, keep up the good work:) yay, you reminded me of holden^^ ty! cheers, b_chan ps: read Gogol. hilarious
Dismay Dot 2008-01-26 ch 1,	abuseYou definitely have Holden's voice down, but the actual content of this isn't him. I find it unbelievable that Holden, who wants to be everyone's catcher, would shoo ducks away instead of buying some bread for them. I also find it somewhat hard to believe that he would aspire to be a shrink. I think he might try skateboarding -- if they had skateboards in his time, a fact that I doubt. It was a fairly good attempt and I congratulate you.
