Aker 1/10/12 . chapter 1
I can understand, why this story won an award. It is wonderful. And about everything the series stands for: open-mindedness, the readiness to help others, unspoiled curiosity and more. It tells how to really look and not just walk past as that man with the tape recorder did. And it is sad, too, because of the fate of Jasmine. But, as always, Paul brings light into the dark world and ignites a bit of hope. May she find her way.

I'm no singer at all, but that's the second story I read about music rather than any adventure stuff and it is just as moving as the other one was (the other one was Stargate). It is amazing how much of song and music can be transported by just writing about it and no real sound to be heard. How much greater would be the impact, if one could really see this little episode? But in a way I did, for it played before my inner eye just as if I was witnessing the scene. Beautiful.

That said, I just want to add: Thank you for sharing this story. I gladly repeat: it is wonderful :).

This was great! I discovered the "Starman" movie some years ago, and then later found the wonderful TV series. I've been enamored with it lately as I've been watching all the episodes. I really like how your story referenced past events as well. You did a good job of keeping everyone in character with very believable dialogue. And I definitely liked the last song at the end- nice! Glad to see some other Starman fans out there. :-)

That's a nice little story. You did especially well with Paul's "voice". I could picture it happening as I read it.

Very good little fic. I loved Both the Starman movie, and the TV show. I didn't know there was anyone else out there that remembers it.

I loved that song by the Carpenters.

She took a chance though, following a strange male to his home like that. Dangerous thing to do in real life.
