I am really looking forward to how you will proceed with this story. The Rachni Queen was a beautiful character in the game,with the most amazing dialogue leading up to one of the most difficult decisions in the game. Personally, I never had any qualms about letting her go, but despite all my good intentions, how much do we know, really? Have no idea what the consequences might be...As for the Garrus part, you already know what a nerd I am...I am hopelessly devoted to this turian:) I love the scene where he is looking desperate, given the mess in his room:) I would no doubt love to knock on his door in the small hours, to find comfort and get his opinion...Lovely.

Your stories always show great emotional expression. I sometimes forget that aliens are even characters sometimes. A good beginning to what most likely be another fav.

Interesting beginning. I always liked the Rachni, thought they were an interesting species, especially the Queen of them.
I also really liked the dream sequence, very poignant.

The only things I noticed were that you weren't capitalizing Rachni which you would because they're a species, likewise with Turians or Krogans, etc. and you're messing up on punctuation in places. I don't know if you've been doing this the whole time--or I just noticed it--but during dialogue, in instances such as:

"Garrus, I need to talk to you." she replied, her voice trembling.

You would put a comma after 'you' instead of a period because it's the whole sentence. Am I making sense? lol. It's kind of hard to explain. Let me give a quick example:

Correct:
"Dialogue is tricky," she said.

Incorrect:
"Dialogue is tricky." she said.

I hope I'm helping and not completely confusing you. Other than those few things, this story has the makings of something great! :D

A story sequel type thing centering the Rachni strike me as odd, but you damn well better believe that I'm certainly looking forward to more chapters! :D Can't wait.
