Bah! With how far ahead Miss I Can do Anything must have been? She probably still graduated with higher makes than Ron.

I'm assuming you got the idea from 50 first dates. Great movie and great story! I got a little teary eyed when Kim told Ron that if there were one day she wanted to remember, it would be this day. And then Ron told her she says that every day. So sad!

Not strange, just pure Ron Stoppable, doing what needs to be done, day after day for his Kim. It isn't much of a life, but it has to be better than the alternative. A life without the woman you love... I don't even want to think about that.

Wow, that was great! :D

I always liked that movie. I'd never thought about it before, but in their universe, I guess it would be a plausible situation. It's nice to see that they were still able to have a nice life regardless of the whole memory issue. =P

I can't review this one, Mike. I have to go out and buy a case of Kleenex...

Perfect Magic here!

It's saddening in it's own way, but I'm curious that Kim's brothers and parents didn't come for her birthday. Ah well, truly an interesting piece.

Its nice to see a little bit of angst added, it rounds off the story quite nicely.

Man awsome story kind of one of those heartwarming deals. You did a really great job with this just goes to show how deep the devotion is for Ron and Kim.

I never saw the movie, but I like this story. A very interesting tale of how a truly dedicated boyfriend, then husband, could deal with such a situation. Keep up the good work!

SO, now I know where the angst monster's been these past few days, and why he came back with a cookie-high and an angst-grin on his face...

whitem, if I told you everything I liked about this story, it'd be longer than the story itself!
Tha pacing and flow are perfect.
Kim's reactions all the way through the piece are perfectly on character for her.
You understand Ron, here, better than I've ever seen him explained: he will, literally, do anything for his KP, even if that includes setting her up after she goes to sleep with a new DVD. The pain he must go through doing that is almost unimaginable, but he's done it, and help her, and raise their children, and work, all at the same time. It, for him, truly is a labor of love.

My only complaint? I wish I'd written this, but I could not have done it the justice that you've done for it. Thank you, sir, for a wonderful look into an A/U which could be considered
'fascinating,' to say the least.

like the old tak lines for PBS, this story is, indeed, a "rare medium, well done."

You know, this reminds me of an episode of Star Trek Enterprise, when capt Archer got infected by some kind of "temporal virus".

Extraordinary story!
A great idea, and the way you wrote it, it worked wonderfully! Of course, the concept would lend itself to an entire canon of stories (and one does wonder where her parents and friends are, since it's her birthday), but I think it was a good decision to keep this a one-shot. Expanding it would mean that the story loses a bit of its effect (imo, at least).
Thanks for sharing! :)

Not too strange. Pretty cool in a interesting way. Very 50 First Dates-ish.

A bittersweet, moving story. Very nicely done.
