I'm sure I sent feedback when this first appeared over to OTL listserv many years ago, but now that I'm strolling back through some of the fictions posted here, I had to stop once more and enjoy "Iron Crown." This is a rich portrayal of Jack, touching with the elements of "little boy lost." (How much I love that line!) From the Carrier's gentle amusement at him to "Can't you handle it? After all, you're the bloody *MIDNIGHTER*." -- this is a masterwork. And prescient, too boot. ;) Thanks for leaving it here for me to find again and again.

Cool, interesting look into Jack's character... I can certainly see him having all those thoughts. I liked the Midnighter bits, too. ;) Nice work!

Great non-intensive story of Jack's acceptance of leadership. Keep up the work!

Yet another good Authority piece...well written as usual. Given the nature of most Authority stories, I'm enjoying these character pieces. Good work.
