wow, this would've made a four-star end to the series; who knows, maybe the movie's producers are watching?

Hey, I used to love "The Equalizer" back in the 80s and wrote a fan letter to Edward Woodward in England; he wrote back to me!

I had time to kill today and noticed fanfic on The Equalizer and opened up your story. Very nicely done all around. First, thanks for completing it-nothing aggravates me more than folks putting up chapters on stories they never complete. Second, this was well written and the plot was good, a mix of quiet and action in very good proportions. I liked Ann and I thought you portrayed Robert, Mickey and Control very true to life. All in all, I read this straight through and really enjoyed it.

I think the only weak point is the inferences of Ann having had so many pain killers before in her life, but we readers are left bereft of how/when/why-that was never played out in the story, which is slightly unfair! ;-) Regarding driving around New York City with any expediency, which never happens, even in the 89s, that is something TV viewers and fanfics have to simply ignore. You were true to the series in that regard, which is fine.

Thanks for writing this and again, super great job well done! One of the best fanfics on any show I've read in a long time.
