This was a perfect little read for at work! The guys as dogs is a fun idea, but once their species became obvious I started to really wonder what you'd with Splinter! Once we got to the part describing his many legs all I could think was "No she didn't!!" XD But you did...a spider! Lmao, the notion of it just strikes me as so funny. But to see him scutteling about and even entertaining thoughts of his sons as dinner really made me smile in a creeped out kind of way ^_^ I have to say I don't see how this could have worked in a multichaptered story, especially with Splinter being so...unstable (would have loved to read about his training sessions though!) but it's perfect for this one shot, especially with it coming from Mikey's imagination, lol. I didn't see that coming, but in the end makes such perfect sense :p Poor Splinter, lol.

Leo as a German Shepherd is blood chillingly close to an idea I've carried around in my head since the age of five...I actually drew it and stuck it up on my DA account...Stealthy Stories too I think...

Fun stuff. The Amazing Splinter-Man didn't really seem to jell with the boys as Mutant Ninja Pups, but the punchline of the entire thing was equally thrilling and chilling. The corners of your mouth rise slightly along with your heartbeat.

The final piece of dialouge is among some of the best I've ever read. It sort of makes up for Raph's dream speak, which is some of the most awkward I've ever read if you'll forgive me for being really blunt for a second. To be honest it's probably the name Shredder Cat. It's easy to imagine, and even make visually interesting, but say it out loud and...yeah.

But good, solid, entertaining work, especially when the actual context is revealed. As a TMNT fan and German Shepherd owner, thanks for the laughs.

That was so cute and funny! The turtles were perfectly matched to their respective dog breed. And Splinter as a spider- hilarious!
Though it was a bit creepy that he was tempted to eat his own kids- but it was still cool.
And the ending was hilarious. Should have known Mikey would think of something like this.

I'm glad Splinter's a rat! That'd be terrible if he really thought about eating his sons... But, very nice story. There's a definite flow throughout, and you display the characters' personalities very clearly!

This was too cute the ninja dogs, Don the Australian Shepard yup, I could see it. Mikey as a jack Russel too easy to picture bouncing off the walls and all.

But Splinter as a spider ew. Gross, give me the heebie -jeebies right before bed. Wanting to eat Mikey yet.

And the last bit was an out and out riot. Only Mikey this is going in favourites, and also in My Mikey C2 file I think.

My favorite part was the little coda at the end, with Michelangelo segueing from reasoning that a really big spider could eat a dog to "Can I have a dog?" Only Mikey.

I like the idea of the guys and dogs although if I were to write them as dogs I would be evil. I would make Raph a Chihuahua, Leo a Basset Hound, Mikey a Chinese Crested and Don a Bedlington Terrier. Splinter could be a worm.
This made me laugh. And Mikey too for using his writing talents to try and hint to Splinter.
Klunk would hate it. Either Mikey getting a dog or Mikey BEING a dog.
