anyways, you definitely still have it in you. amazing even though the setting is in way-back-canon. hope little J wouldn't trumple down B's world. it's fragile as it is. CE are awesome and CN need to be BFFs again!

I have to say I was a little disappointed that you don't seem to be taking N and S in a romantic direction. But then I thought about it, and that would be pretty horrible for S to do to B right now.
It was really mature of her to tell Nate that he needed to go to Blair for information.
It's nice to see her being a little less meddling than she's usually portrayed!

You've done something that rarely happens for me, and that is to make me actually like Dan Humphrey. It's very rare for his character not to annoy me greatly.
But you write Dan in a way where he isn't quite so judgemental as usual.

I stumbled onto this story after finding Summer Of '98 on the page of new stories . . .
After reading all of the stellar reviews for Aftershock that were on your profile page, I couldn't help coming to read it myself.
I can tell you now that I won't stop until I've finished it. Well, I'll take breaks, obviously, but this fanfic will be the one I read when I sit down to read fanfic, if that made any sense whatsoever.
I can also tell you that this is far from the first review you'll be getting from me, because I can already tell that I'm going to like this.
The prologue got me hooked!

I don't really remember what Serena did to Blair...? Why does B seem annoyed with her? If I had been Serena I would feel hurt by Blair's treatment of me by now...

Hm, Chuck wants Natey boy back. I quite like it. :-) (But only if Nate treats Chuck well...sigh. *keeping my fingers crossed*)

I think she's suffered enough already. IMHO of course. (I don't even remember what she did to deserve all this in the first place...? *feeling confused*) Hm, whoever put that gooey stuff in her locker...?

Oh, love so much that Chuck sort of defends Nate in front of that Matt guy. Perhaps the CN bromance isn't dead after all. <3

Oh , I really hope Chuck continues to back off from Blair. He has chased her enough and I enjoy the struggle between Matt and Nate over her too much lol.

Oh, if that was Elise who put that stuff in Jenny's locker I will dislike her even more. LOL, perhaps I'm not reacting the way I should to the characters in this fic anymore. I guess, seeing so much of the show since reading tha last update has changed my perception of some of the characters a lot and that is hard to shake off now when reading, even though this "universe" is a bit different...

So far I feel mostly for Serena, Chuck (duh), Jenny and Nate (surprisingly) in this fic. Perhaps that will change though? We'll see. :-) I'm really, really enjoying this though, even though my reaction to the characters aren't perhaps what they "should" be lol.

Okay, first of all, THANK YOU for giving Serena an ACTUAL storyline. Christ, the girl has absolutely no reason to be on the show because the writers massacre her character by never giving her anything to do or say that makes sense or matters. I like how throughout the entire story she is an actual friend to Blair and not some wish-washy character that it pains to see on tv.

Another thing I love, is that you've incorporated almost every character in this chapter and shown a clear path for them to go. I love you and how you are so consistent with your writing.
