Love it! This is a great interpretation of what could happen after the war... 'Eighth years' with their unique status and leadership roles are a nice background detail. The healing wounds of lost loved ones... Protective McGonigal... Lovely.

But, Snape's just perfect. I'd love to see this scene on-screen, but the movies, unfortunantly, don't even follow the books acurately... Sorry, I'm not a fan of the movies purely because of the altered events...

Anyway, you have a nice list of stories. I've been reading your Naruto series of how to make characters angry. Those are pretty funny. :)

Oh, if only! Thanks for this. It really made my day. I agree that Harry and Hermione at least would go this route. You made a good case for Ron to join them. Loved the description of a spectral Snape. Replacing Snape's idea of 'celebrity' with 'war hero' made me laugh. Good to see that the trio are in such good hands.
