i am reminded when my late father in law used to take my kids to the park on the north side of pittsburgh to 'gus and yaya's' for icy-balls, we'd get popcorn and peanuts to feed the pigeons and squirrels. nothing beats having a squirrel take a nut out of your hand then sit and eat it in front of you.

I loved how you wrote the different sides of Kenshin, but still the reader saw that it was the same person (sometimes writers write Battousai very OOC) I also loved Kenji, your version is such a cute kid :D
(now this much cuteness makes me want to read some Hiko, little Kenshin stories :D )

So cute. I especially loved the last part. Battousai must've been sad to see the birds leave him. I feel so sorry for him then. But, Kenshin and Kenji was just so sweet.
