::A gunshot rang out from much closer than before, and Ronon staggered with a grunt but didn’t fall.:: It could read either way, but unless the big guy was ducking a gun shot, why else would he stagger and grunt? Trip over a root? A hair? Rodney's ego? Just curious.

Loved it! What a thrilling story, I loved how McKay saved the day and the ending made me laugh out loud, “cheeseburger and fries”, so Sheppard! Of course I also enjoyed the whump; it was intense! Nice job!

Very well done! I like the penetrating chest trauma idea. Very, very whumpy - and bloody too - hee! This was very tense and I loved the team care, and way the team worked together, with Rodney saving the day and fixing the lockdown on the 'gate. Thanks for sharing. A most enjoyable read! :)

Nicely done gen story. I love Carson entirely too much and there aren't nearly enough people writing him these days. The only thing that could have been better would be some Rodney/Carson slashy bits!

Gorgeous! The scene in the operating room, and in the Gateroom at the end, were pure perfection--Rodney and the others being so themselves, and just appreciating the heck out of each other in that way that they have that's so private, and so shared! Lovely!! Thanks so much! ^^
