The little details from the knife cutting her finger to the long heavy silence was everything needed to bring it to life. The story was perfectly formatted and everything seemed to be placed in just the right spot. I hope to read more from you. Geez, six years?? That's about how long it's been since I first met Trigun, but lucky for my readers on here, I didn't discover this website until several years later. Ha. Well, I haven't read your older stuff, but I bet you have improved a ton. Actually, this story inspires me to go rewrite one of my first Trigun pieces and post it on here. Vash's and Meryl's interactions were both beautiful and humorous, especially this: "You moron, you might be able to hold your breath for ten minutes, but I can't!" She yelled. Perfect.
