Ironically, everytime I think of Death now, I think of Discworld's DEATH. Which ironically is a pleasant enough Death to think of.

Though now that I look at it, very Discworld way of thinking. I like it.

Sque! I *love* Sandman! And I totally love that you crossed it with the other fandom I adore! And you did it damn well, too! Good on you!

Anyway, I really liked this fic, beyond the crossover thing. I like the view of Will's adjustment period, where he kinda likes it but kinda really doesn't, and then gets tricks of the trade which freak the hell out of him. Which is pretty into character, I'd reckon. Will is a pretty normal sort of chap most of the time, who just sort of happens to get shoved into fantastical circumstances and just has to deal as he goes along.

But I *loved* when Death made an appearance, and I especially liked the bit where she's like, "Sorry, forgot the century." Bwahahaha! And I really liked the bit about belief-Hogfather is one of my favourite books, so I really liked seeing this bit brought in.

All in all, it's a fantastic fic, which addresses some of the intricacies of why.
