This chapter almost made me think this story was going to turn into Mia/Nick... but it didn't. Thank goodness!

I'm just glad Greg's getting a handle on himself. :) Finally.

You know in the start Mikayla says there was someone on the phone for Nick and then Gwen asks how she's doing. Wouldn't she have inferred she was doing okay, or asked, when she answered? Mother and daughter would probably know one each other's voices. And... maybe Mikayla would have told Nick it was her mom?

I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy? It didn't bother me the first time I read it.

And the end here makes me uber sad. :(

At least there's a little of the old Greg showing through! Lol Old Greg! Have you ever youtubed him? I digress... I remeber this chapter restoring my hope that it'd be okay in the end. Even though you never actually told me it would! Guh!

:) I loved Nick's niece in this bit. More, him taking care of her. But yeah... I also loved the case you had him and Mia do. It was neat the way you threw that in there. Of course, I hated the way Greg was an ass to her. Can I kick him? But... I know how it ends so..

I think this is the first time I ever caught that bit at the end with her holding Grissom's hand. Wow! How'd I miss that? That's so huge on SO many levels!

Another amazing chapter! I love Mia soo much. I'm scared for the next chapter though. I know what happens in it.

I think that's probably my favorite Mia line ever. I loved it the first time. I love it this time! I'll always love it.

This was a good chapter. You've touched on so many families! I know I've wondered about the home lives of some of the techs and CSI's. :) Great chapter!

I really liked the way this one started out! I'm a huge fan of imagery and you used it so well today. It wasn't like, hardcore imagery, but you described the scene perfectly so I could get a strong sense of what Greg was feeling.

Also, I'd forgotten Ronnie was in this one. She was such a random character. Lol.

Ew! Evil daddy! I love that Mia's so smart.

Man. I hate this and love it all at the same time. I adore your ability to write such amazing stuff. Even reading it for the ninth time it moves me as much as the first time.

Awesome chappie! Poor Mia, she's really getting some heat from Greg, but why is Greg acting so cold? You have me very confused and i'm intruged at where this is going! As for the last line... evil little cliffhanger! ;)
