| Doranwen 2008-07-09 ch 1, | abuseYour poem is nice, but you missed something. The rules on this site (you can find them in the posting guidelines, located by adding /guidelines/ after the main site address) are that this site is for fanfiction only, hence this category is for *Bible fanfiction* (stories about biblical characters or events, etc.), not poems based on spiritual themes. This is a critical distinction that many miss. The guidelines clearly state that non-fanfiction literary works belong at FictionPress instead (there is even a category specifically for religious poetry, where your poem would do nicely). As Christians, we need to set an example to others for behavior, so we should follow the rules here. Please move your poem, thank you! :) |

Hope all works out for you, though, whatever your difficulties happen to be... The Golden Hat, you accuse people of "lashing out in anger" (although I see no evidence provided - I notice that a lot of people just like to use that phrase) and in the same sentence you call people "jerks" just because you do not like what they say. I really think that you need to dial it down... and look in the mirror. It would seem to be, in fact, you, who "cannot understand" (or do not wish to understand) the perspective of those other people... and thus you lash out in angry words towards them. There is no need to call others "jerks", in your anger, just because you do not understand. Other people have the right, and responsibility, to "stand strong" in the face of adversity. Not just yourself or those with whom you tend to agree. Be fair. Be just. Be open. Be sincere. Be reasonable. :) Again, I hope all works out. For everyone. |
| The Golden Hat 2008-02-09 ch 1, anon. | abuseStand strong Salvation. There are always jerks out there who cannot understand something, and instead of trying to grasp it they lash out in anger. The greatest test of charector is standing strong in the face of such adversity, here's betting you come out on top! |
