It was a nicely done chapter but it seemed to end before it got anywhere important.
I definitely want to know what happens next, what exactly Hikari wants to tell her father and how his reaction will be.

Just now read it for the first time. I can't tell where you are going with this. It's too early to hazard a guess. But I like what I've read so far. As usual for your stories it is well written. I'm not a "shipper" or a mindless fanatical adherent to "canon", so I find myself more open to writing that explores new territory around that which has already been trod many times by others.
Please do continue it at some point; but my preference is that you finish others that you started before this one . . . "Nine Years", for example.
By the way, I only add stories to my "favorite" list if they are completed, or if I think the author has earned and needs extra encouragement.

I found myself wanting to see this story continued. It is well writen, and I believe thought out as well. Of all the girls in Shinji's age group I find Hikari the one that he would be most compatible with.
Rie has no fillings, and Shinji has no idea what is going on. So there is little he can do to help her.
Asaka Is hateful, mean, and downright aweful to Shinji. With the abuse of neglect he has faced that couple wouldn't servive as well.
Hikari though is for the most part level headed, smart, and responcible at least in the anime she was. That would be someone that Shinji would not only like, but someone that he could identify with I think.

I like it so far. hope it continues.
