It was... short. Very short. The story felt rushed and hurried like you were trying to get things over with too quickly. It easily could have been a much longer, or at the least a much less rushed story. Love the idea behind it, but not so much how it was handled.

There's just something bugging me,why does everybody (yes I already find that in numerous fanfics) think that "Lawliet" ought to be a French name...I am myself french,and it does not sound at all French,wether it is the way it's written,or the way people tends to pronounce it ( like that : "low - light" . If it was indeed french,you'd pronounce it like this : "lav - lee - ette",wich does not sound pretty,I reckon.)Sorry for the little outburst,it's just that this assumption got me feel startled.

You mentioned L was bipolar, but bipolar people don't have split personalities. That's called dissociative personality disorder. Bipolar disorder is when a person's emotions oscillate between extreme mania and extreme depression.

A beautifully bitter-sweet ending, and I love your idea of the Death Note users experiencing every death they caused.

Even in your ending, you continue with the facade of surprise. Awesome job.

I really don't know what to say. The full impact of your story just suddenly hits me again, and I'm left speechless. I could go saying a thousand things, on how it the world, the words that you've crafted just crashed on my shoulders, but it would be pointless. All I can say is that your story is a brillant mind twister that leaves the reader haunted, and aching for more.

I'm just waiting for the epilouge.

Question: How does this deem like 'romance'? I mean, in its own twisted sense it may be, but I think that this was more of a suspence/drama, not a romance/drama. Or maybe you can just point out those parts..since my memory is fuzzy.

Answer to your question: I'm not sure, but I would love to read another Death Note fic of yours. You just have this way of writing that keeps me spellbounded, confused, and understand at the same time.

One last question (sorry, sorry): What does the title(s) mean? For the story and the chapters. I know that they're latin, and to an extent, I can guess, but I would actually want to knwo the English equivalent as well.

I actually read this a few days ago and got really confused because it seems to me that everything is just starting to be begin, all the intrigue, to only find out that there's only 1 chapter left.

Anyways, great job on the writing. It's really chilling...and haunting, since I found myself reviewing what was said in the story. I was wanting to work out how it could've ended so early, and then something just hit me.

For some crazy reason, I came up with the whole theory that "L" is actually dead, and the person right now is actually B. Don't ask, I'm just so sure that I know I'm going to be wrong, but it just makes total sense at the same time. Why he would insist Light call him by his title, the crimson glint, and why his successors were being killed off. Since I doubt that B can remember their names, so it must be him right now. L is already dead (or hiding, or something...) and B found out, and promptly took over. Now for this 'theory', the whole story suddenly clicked together.

Update soon...my mind is going insane.
