I really like this story. One of my favorite Okami Fanfictions. :) According to my computer's translator, Waka's use of French is a little... off? Some of the nicknames are kinda, funny. XD (ex: My little dirt) yeah. Is that my computer or? xD

This has to be one of THE best Okami fics I've. You've blended the stories I read for my Japanese classes over the years with the Okami world seamlessly with the wonderful twists Okami employs on playing their culture and stories. I had watched "Kwaidan", specifically Hoichi's segment, and I was all but snickering at his banter with Waka. Inujiji and Pochy for Hanasaka Jiisan I almost didn't suspect until the end. Tsuya, Saburo, and Botan was a bit of a headscratcher, as I only read that story in passing. Izanami... now that's classic. :D Beautiful

This was a brilliant story! I read this over on yuletide and I'm very glad it made its way over here. Your characters are spot on (and their voices all speak very clearly throughout this piece). And you incorporated tons of awesome legends, just like the game did so seamlessly. Thanks so much for writing this! I would love to see more but for now I think I'll check out the rest of your work.
