Nice ending. It is interesting to see the conservative Helina against the radical Akela. It's a classic generation clash, each one thinks the other does not act properly. I'd love to see more of this (as a short story, maybe?)

And it's time for Fred to man up! Geez, what took him so long? No, I'm just kidding. Now we have something to look forward to in Black Wolf 4.

I always thought the scematic was in the Timber Wolf's memory. *Damn!* Way to go to keep it secret until the very end. Marcus received his "payment", which is what he deserved. This is a very nice ending for a long-run series.

Well, Snowbird is finishing up, now Black Wolf is finishing up too. It breaks my heart to see two great series end. I hope I can still read your work (Black Wolf 4, maybe? Or Last Hunter?)
