That was beautiful, and really realistic. I haven't wached ER in forever (due to it showing in Australia at mental times, and then constantly chopping and changing it, etc) but the portrayal of Ray is beautiful, and so was their reunion.
Don't know whats happening on ER at the moment, but I hope something along these lines eventually does!

Oh boy, that's the best piece of wish fulfillment I've read for a long time. Ray and Neela were robbed, and you've put that to rights beautifully.

A wonderful piece of writing! I liked the use of flashback, I liked how you presented Ray and Neela; you maintained a sense of realism and still managed to be incredibly romantic. All I can say is I absolutely loved this! Which is why I am asking you to please, please, please, please, please, turn this into a multichapter.This is too good to stop here; it ends on an imperfect cadence that leaves it sounding like there's more to come. Like you said yourself, "there was a lot of talking they still had to do...". Again, please turn this into a multichapter. Either way though, I love this piece of writing.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous - if only we could get something like this on the show, grumble. It was perfect from start to finish - Neela, blaming herself; Ray, refusing to see her until he could walk and forgetting how bad his stumps were hurting the moment he saw her. Great job!
